The Guernsey Retirement Plan is designed to help you take control of your retirement planning and provide a capital sum and income when you stop working.
The minimum regular contribution is £150 per month, regular contributions can be paused at any time and there is no charge to change, stop or re-start contributions.
Pension benefits can be accessed at any age between 50 - 75.
The minimum age benefits can be accessed may increase to age 55 if your fund includes any transfers from a UK approved pension, or includes benefits accrued in the UK.
You will be able to take 30% of your pension fund as tax-free lump sum. You will then choose one of the following options for the remaining funds:

Yes. If you wish to maintain full control of your pension, you can choose to self select from the wide range of funds available for investment within the plan.
If you do not want to self select, you can invest in a Pre-Set Investment Strategy or the Asset Allocation Strategies.
Initial Set Up Charge
A ‘one of’ fee may be charged for advising on and setting up your Plan. We will inform you of any charge and the amount before setting up your plan.
Ongoing Administration Fees
The Administration Fee contributes towards the cost of maintaining your Plan, reconciling and uploading your contributions as well as investment and financial advice.
We will deduct the administration charge directly from single or regular contributions prior to funds being invested in your Plan.
Total Annual Charges
The Total Annual Charges represents the cost of investing in the Plan and varies depending on the underlying investment fund selected.

Claiming Pension Benefits
At the time you elect to access your pension fund i.e. tax free lump sum and/or income in retirement an administration and advisory fee may apply, please refer to Rossborough Financial for further information.
Termination Fee
If you elect to transfer your benefits to another approved pension arrangement a termination fee may apply.
